Accounting Position

Foliera Inc. is a leader in the horticultural industry located in the Niagara Peninsula – Beamsville, ON.

We have an immediate opening for an Accounting Position, reporting to the Controller. The candidate will be joining a team of professionals.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Timely and accurate processing of AP runs.

• Heavy focus on reconciling purchase orders to invoices
• Post journal entries and maintain general ledgers
• Review and calculate time sheets
• Record credit card transactions and perform reconciliations
• Special projects as required
• Other duties as required

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years of accounting and bookkeeping experience
• Firm grasp of basic and intermediate accounting principles

• Organized and the ability to learn quickly
• Requires focus on accuracy, compliance, process improvement and efficiency
• Excellent time management and established procedures for tracking time sensitive tasks
• Good command of English, spoken and written is essential
• Advance competency in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel
• Strong understanding of accounts payable
