Accounting / Project Administrator

Responsibilities:
- Provide accounting/bookkeeping on a day to day basis for month end and year end review/reporting by the off-site Controller. Serve as a consistent financial control point in gathering, analyzing and processing financial information regarding business operations and construction projects from startup to completion.
- Provide administrative support to the Project Managers and teams throughout the construction project cycle. Support the Project Manager in project planning, organizing, tracking activities and coordinating the many details involved with project management.
You will bring:
- Knowledge and experience in full cycle accounting/bookkeeping practices and legislative/tax requirements is required, i.e. 2 8 years.
- Excellent accounting and administrative skills you will have a keen passion for keeping the many details of project activities on track and well organized.
- Accounting/administrative experience in the architectural, engineering or construction industry is an asset, and/or experience working with small to large complex projects
- Self-motivated, results driven and customer focused mindset. Professional with a positive, upbeat personality and strong communication skills. Ability to manage competing demands, work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Strong work ethics, attention to detail and enjoys working in a fast-paced team environment whose focus is quality, results and exceptional customer service.
- Independent worker who takes ownership and accountability of the role responsibilities.
- Proficient working with Accounting software programs and MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Teams, Outlook, etc).
