M&L Supply, Fire & Safety is seeking a full-time employee to look after accounts receivable, commissions processing and to act as a backup for payroll at its Head Office located in Ingleside, ON.
Estimated date of hire is mid-May 2024 (exact date to be confirmed)
37.5 hours per week (Monday to Friday 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., 30-minute unpaid lunch)
Salary commensurate with experience.
Duties include:
- Deposits and recordkeeping
- Payments
- Customer file maintenance
- Proactive follow-up on outstanding invoices to ensure timely payment
- Resolve payment discrepancies
- Process improvements
Reqirements:
- Accounting knowledge/experience and best practices
- Excellent attention to detail and aptitude for numbers
- Payroll experience preferred
- Computer savvy - quick learner of computer software, advanced Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Excellent communication skills - oral and written - including ability to listen effectively, speak/write in a clear and concise manner, and ability to exercise discretion and diplomacy
- Friendly and energetic
- Excellent work ethic - dependable/reliable, productive (able to prioritize/manage time efficiently), integrity, ability to work well with others, willingness to help out
