The Office of Student Experience at Mount Saint Vincent University invites applications for the term position of African Nova Scotian Pathways Community Navigator.
About the Opportunity
MSVU has received grant funding for a Pathways Community Navigator. Reporting to the Associate Vice-President, Student Experience. Over three years, the Pathways Community Navigator will play a vital role in advancing MSVU's commitment to access and impact. The Pathways Community Navigator will work in consultation with communities to conduct needs assessments to identify priority needs, help break down barriers to access, and mobilize alumni and current students as community advocates and role-models. The Pathways Community Navigator will contribute to breaking down barriers to higher education, fostering a sense of belonging on campus, and promoting successful transition for traditionally underserved communities in Nova Scotia with an initial focus on African Nova Scotian communities.
