Our client in Southwestern Ontario, Chatham-Kent Health Alliance (CKHA), has opportunity for one (1) full-time Anesthesiologist, to join their team. Supervision is being offered.

CKHA is a 200-bed hospital located in Southwestern Ontario that offers a full range of medical and diagnostic services including CT, MRI, and 24- hour laboratory, diagnostic imaging, pathology, and respiratory therapy services. We also offer specialty services in Internal Medicine, Emergency Medicine, ENT, Psychiatry, and OB/GYN.
Our community is situated between two freshwater lakes and is located below the snow belt. Chatham-Kent offers a great climate and a variety of activities for people of all ages and interests. We are a short drive from Detroit, Windsor, and London and have a direct VIA train route to Toronto which allows for many international travel options.

CKHA provides:
- Surgical services: general surgery, orthopedics, ophthalmology, otolaryngology, obstetrics/gynecology, dental and oral surgery.
- Over 14,000 surgical procedures (including endoscopy) annually
- 5 ORs and 2 endoscopy suites that are equipped with the latest technology
- Sedation for ERCPs
- Full-time Anesthesia Assistant in the OR
- A 28-bed surgical inpatient unit
- Single-room maternity care with 8 LDRP rooms and 1 adjacent C-section room, 5-bed.
- Level II neonatal nursery facilities, post-partum beds, and 6 pediatric beds
- Approximately 850 deliveries annually, 40% C-section rate, 24/7 epidural service
REMUNERATION: CKHA offers a fee-for-service payment model with an earning potential that ranges from $450,000 to $500,000. Additionally, they offer relocation support for families with a Return in Service agreement.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Eligible for registration and licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario (CPSO).
- Specialist training in Anesthesia.
- Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada Certification or Letter of Eligibility, OR American Board certification.
- MCCQE1 exam OR a full set of USMLEs.
