Answer phones from at home

Columbia Ice is a local independent ice supplier. Our factory is in Acheson, AB. From about mid April to end of Sept, during our busy season we need help with someone to answer the phones.

What this means is we will provide you a phone which we will ask you to keep on from 730 am to 530 pm. Monday to Saturday.

In the summer you will get between 10-20 calls a day. Less on weekends.

When you get a call, we will have you fill out a form, take a picture and email it to us. (This part is a work in progress) We will give you a basic script with some Q and A's, but you will not be asked to know anything too complicated. A tour of our ice factory might be worthwhile.

You will need to be good on the phone, good with people and interact with clients in a professional manner. Have a strong attention to detail when getting client information. Not frustrated by accents.

As I am sure you can appreciate, it would be hard to figure out the exact amount of time a person spends on a phone and emailing, we felt a monthly payment was a valid way to go of $1250.00 a month. This would be perfect for someone that is semi-retired, retired, etc
