ASSOCIATE DIRECTOR, FINANCIAL CONTROL – GG07 (FRANKFURT)

This is a new opportunity for a Financial Controller to join RBC Capital Markets (Europe) GmbH (RBC EG) in Frankfurt and support RBCEG legal entity control function to ensure that books and records are maintained in accordance with relevant rules and regulations. You will be responsible for understanding local regulatory reporting and interacting with the local regulator based upon positive advice and council from Head of Regulatory Reporting London. You will also provide assurance of integrity of Balance Sheet and PL, provide meaningful financial information to the Business to facilitate decision making process and run the month end financial process.

What will you do?

  • You will carry out Legal Entity and Management reporting including responsibility for management accounts and statutory accounts

  • You will be responsible for understanding local regulatory reporting

  • You will carry out Financial Control & Accounting including assisting with month end process for RBCEG

  • Prepare monthly financials for RBCEG Branch including P & L and Balance Sheet and monthly Balance Sheet accounts attestation

  • Take responsibility for understanding local liquidity reporting

  • Head Office Reporting including preparation of various submissions to Consolidation team and other recipients where appropriate.

Must-have

  • Strong understanding of Financial Statements

  • Financial Control and accounting experience

  • Strong analytical skills

  • Good German and English language skills.
