Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and treat animals with illnesses and injuries
- Perform surgeries and dental procedures
- Conduct regular check-ups and vaccinations
- Provide preventive care and advice on nutrition and behavior
- Communicate with pet owners to explain diagnoses and treatment plans
- Maintain accurate medical records for all patients
- Collaborate with veterinary technicians and other staff members
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of animal anatomy, physiology, and diseases
- Proficient in conducting laboratory tests and interpreting results
- Excellent surgical skills, including the ability to perform complex procedures
- Effective communication skills to interact with pet owners and staff members
- Compassion and empathy towards animals and their owners
- Attention to detail for accurate diagnosis and treatment plans
