Position Summary:
John Bear Buick GMC is looking to add qualified Automotive Service Technicians/Diesel Technicians/Transmission Technicians to join our team at our busy St. Catharies dealership. In this important role, you will be responsible for repairing client's new and certified pre owned vehicles, collaborating closely with the service advisors/managers to determine automotive service needs, recommending maintenance, and other services to satisfy these needs. This role plays a critical part of the dealership's role to guide the client throughout the service process and ensuring a high level of client satisfaction.

Responsibilities:
Inspect motor vehicles in operation, road test motor vehicles and test automotive systems and components
Adjust, repair or replace parts and components of automotive systems
Test and adjust repaired systems to manufacturer’s specifications
Perform scheduled maintenance service
Provide recommendations on work performed and future repair requirements
Review work orders and discuss work with supervisor
Maintain efficiency and accuracy in diagnosing and repairing vehicles
other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
310S Mechanics License or equivalent is required
Diesel or Transmission experience a definite asset
Valid Class G Driver’s License and clean driver's abstract
GM experience is an asset

Salary: $60,000 - $110,000 + per year
