Role Summary
As a member of the Cafe team, the barista is responsible for crafting and serving high-quality specialty coffee beverages, engaging with customers, and maintaining a clean and organized coffee bar area.
Primary Responsibilities
Beverage preparation.
Prepare and serve specialty coffee beverages ensuring consistency in taste and presentation for each beverage.
Operate and maintain coffee equipment, such as espresso machines, grinders, and brewers.
Regularly taste and evaluate coffee to maintain its quality and consistency.
Work collaboratively with other cafe staff members to ensure a seamless customer service experience.
Profile of Role Requirements
A genuine passion for coffee and hospitality.
12 months previous experience as a barista is an asset.
Exceptional customer service and hospitality.
Clean and organised with an eye for detail.
Time management and the ability to multitask under pressure.
A good communicator and the ability to work in a team setting.
