Tasks Calculate and prepare cheques for payroll, Calculate fixed assets and depreciation, Keep financial records and establish, maintain and balance various accounts using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems, Maintain general ledgers and financial statements, Post journal entries, Prepare other statistical, financial and accounting reports, Prepare tax returns, Prepare trial balance of books, Reconcile accounts, Assemble data and prepare periodic and special reports, manuals and correspondence, Oversee and co-ordinate office administrative procedures, Supervise technical and support staff, Delegate work to office support staff, Review, evaluate and implement new administrative procedures, Plan and co-ordinate activities of staff and assure production deadlines are met, Assist in the preparation of operating budget and maintain inventory and budgetary controls.
