USNR is currently looking for both University grads and experienced professionals that are ready for an exciting career.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Software developers at USNR are required to support existing, legacy, products, but also have opportunities to create new features or entirely new products. USNR expects that its Software Developers can complete tasks independently or as members of a team within a specified timeframe.

  • Gather development specifications to ensure a full range of responsibilities and requirements are understood prior to beginning a task
  • Develop features from design to implementation
  • Work with mentors to understand how your task fits within the broader architecture
  • Manage your own personal schedule including estimating how long a specific task will take to complete
  • Provide support for legacy systems including working with customers and our service team to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
  • Follow prescribed coding standards and methodologies
  • Complete required code documentation

REQUIREMENTS

  • University degree/diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 2 years experience in software development
  • Proficiency in C++
  • Strong mathematic and problem solving skills
  • Work effectively with your team, our service personnel and with USNR's customers
  • Maintain a positive attitude and keep a willingness to learn and adapt to ever changing technologies
  • Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new challenges
  • Experience with programming in varying languages including troubleshooting and debugging
