Description
- Responsible in executing the tasks assigned by Team Lead
- Responsible to use Load Link, DAT, Google, Yellow Pages, and whatever search necessary to find carriers
- Develop an understanding of the quote request and find solutions for the client
- Review with team lead and present to client or provide costs to internal business units
- Think “outside of the box”, present alternative and new solutions to business units for review
- Assist team lead in finding new carriers
- Assist team lead on projects
- Negotiate rates with carriers on spot quotes
- Outstanding organizational & time management skills
- Compliant in following the Trinet Operational Procedures put in place
- Support team on daily activities

Key Performance Indicators (to finalize)-KEY ELEMENT – in becoming Carrier Relations Specialist
- Needs to complete cross training in each role in order to be eligible for Carrier Relations Specialist role
- Up to speed on procedures for vetting carriers, back up to role
- Have an understanding of the claims process
- Understanding, organizing and managing RFP’s and RFQ’s
- Yellow belt training - Need to have an overall score between 80%-100% regarding the Development Program
