Cashier/Merchandiser

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Casher/Merchandiser to join our team. As a Merchandiser, you will be responsible for ensuring that our products are properly displayed and stocked in retail stores. Your role will involve organizing merchandise, setting up displays, helping customers at the till and on the sales floor, and maintaining inventory levels. Responsibilities:
- Organize and arrange merchandise on store shelves and displays
- Set up promotional displays to attract customers
- Ensure that products are properly labeled with accurate pricing information
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate with store managers to restock as needed
- Collaborate with sales team to develop effective merchandising strategies
- Ring customers through the till

-Help customers find products
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of store shelves and displays
- Provide exceptional customer service by assisting customers with product inquiries and purchases

Experience:
- Previous experience in merchandising or retail sales is preferred
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and calculating discounts
- Strong organizational skills to effectively manage inventory and display setups
- Excellent communication skills to interact with store managers, sales team, and customers
- Familiarity with point-of-sale (POS) systems for processing transactions
- Cash handling experience is an asset for managing cash registers

Skills:
- Retail sales skills to promote products and upsell to customers
- Phone etiquette for answering customer inquiries or taking orders over the phone
