Responsibilities:
- Provide excellent customer service by assisting customers with their purchases and answering any questions they may have.
- Operate cash registers and handle cash transactions accurately.
- Scan and bag items for customers at checkout.
- Maintain a clean and organized checkout area.
- Stock shelves and ensure products are properly displayed.
- Assist with inventory management and restocking of merchandise.
- Use a forklift to move heavy items or pallets, if required.
- Bilingual skills (if applicable) to assist customers who speak a different language.
Skills:
- Strong organizational skills to effectively manage cashiering and stocking duties.
- Retail sales experience is a plus, but not required.
- Excellent communication skills to interact with customers and team members.
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to detail to ensure accurate cash handling and pricing of products.
- Ability to maintain a clean and orderly work area.
