Lac La Ronge Indian Band (LLRIB) is seeking a dynamic and experienced Chief Operations Officer (COO) to provide strong leadership and strategic direction to our Internal Programs. Reporting to the Executive Director LLRIB, you will play a crucial role in fostering a positive work environment, ensuring effective operational planning, and driving the overall success of LLRIB.
- Provide strong leadership, guidance, and direction to LLRIB Internal Programs.
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, promoting teamwork and cohesion between Departments.
- Collaborate with the Executive Director and Program Directors Working Group in developing LLRIB's vision, mission, and comprehensive strategic plan.
- Develop and implement operational plans for each Department, ensuring alignment with the Band's overall strategy.
- Review and approve department budgets, ensuring alignment with the Band's financial goals and objectives.
- Monitor overall expenditures, comparing them to approved budgets, and address any discrepancies or overspending.
- Provide the Internal Council with comprehensive, regular reports on revenues and expenditures.
- Ensure programs meet the expectations of Band membership, Internal Council, and funding agencies.
- Oversee the planning, implementation, and evaluation of LLRIBs programs and services.
- Direct the effective utilization and administration of LLRIBs human, financial, information, and physical resources.
- Communicate with stakeholders to keep them informed and identify changes in community services.
- Establish working relationships with community groups, politicians, and other organizations.
- Represent LLRIB to the public, corporations, government organizations, professional organizations, and media.
