Form of work Job Description:We are recruiting for the following permanent employment opportunities: Senior 5 Axis CNC Machinist Our client is a Canadian leader in defence and aerospace manufacturing. Reporting to the Machining Manager, the 5 Axis CNC Machinist would be responsible to set-up and operate 5-axis CNC vertical milling machines, use appropriate tools, fixtures and indicators for machine set up, load, unload, change and modify programs as required., change and set cutting tools, modify and grind tools as required, adjust feeds and speeds for maximum efficiency and safety precautions in place deburr and prepare parts for loading and unloading, measure and inspect parts to ensure dimensions are within tolerances, read and interpret blue prints, other duties as assigned. Advantages . $28/hr - $40/hr, depending on experience. Straight afternoons: Monday through Thursday, 4:30 pm to 2:00 am and Friday, 3:15 pm to 7:15 pm with over time available. Opportunity for a full time permanent position. Full benefits package is available. Great team environment Requirements .10+ years' experience required. Certificate of qualification, college degree or other training in CNC machining an asset. Fanuc or Haas experience a must. Familiarity with Mastercam. Previous aerospace experience preferred.
