Responsibilities:
- Serve as a liaison between the organization and the community
- Build and maintain relationships with community members, organizations, and stakeholders
- Attend community meetings, events, and forums to represent the organization
- Provide information and resources to community members regarding the organization's programs and services
- Assist in organizing and coordinating community events and initiatives
- Provide clients with assistance in filling out government forms, housing applications.
- Assist in filing client income taxes through the CVITP (Training provided)
Requirements:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of community resources and services
- Ability to build relationships with diverse groups of people
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to speak and understand Cree considered an asset
- Class 5 Drivers License considered an asset
