Primary Duties: A desire to make a positive impact on the lives of students and a commitment to the holistic development of our school community through a compassionate and Christ-like approach. Duties include: One-on-one pullout sessions In-the-moment Problem Solving Small group mediation Referrals to external agencies Timetabling of options programming Address attendance concerns Support school initiatives and programs Additional teaching duties to be assigned in accordance with the successful applicant’s strengths and school needs. Technical Skills Required: Bachelor’s degree in Education, Counseling, Psychology, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred) Teaching certification Experience working with junior high school students in a counseling or support capacity Strong interpersonal and communication skills Ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues, parents, and external agencies Understanding of Catholic values and commitment to fostering a faith-filled learning environment
