Course Title: #SOCI 3703 SUC1- Crime and Punishment
Contract Term: May 15, 2023 - July 30, 2023 (Summer 3)
Course Schedule: Monday - Friday, 9:00am - 12:00 pm (Class Dates: June 19 - July 7, 2023)

Course Description: A cross-cultural and social historical examination of the social response to crime. Topics may include patterns of crime, the history of policing and forms of punishment, the evolution of the penitentiary, and comparative justice models.
Qualifications: PhD in Sociology or related discipline. MA will be considered. Experience teaching SOCI 3703 an asset.
