Emera Newfoundland & Labrador (ENL), a wholly owned subsidiary of Emera Inc. (EMA- TXS), is responsible for operating and maintaining the 500-megawatt Maritime Link Project. The Maritime Link transmits energy from the island of Newfoundland to Nova Scotia. With sites and office locations in both provinces, ENL is committed to ensuring that the Maritime Link transmits clean, renewable energy for Nova Scotia.
We are currently looking for a Contract and Risk Specialist to join our team in a permanent position. Reporting to the Manager, Business Operations, you will be responsible for the procurement process over the full contract life cycle from sourcing to contract closeout.
The candidate must ensure process integrity, provide commercial insight, protect the Company against third party risk exposure and provide contracting expertise and support to the team. This multifaceted role also involves taking on responsibilities related to compliance and Risk management, contributing to the overall business operations of the Maritime Link.
