What you'll do
Responsibilities

Acadia seeks a Coordinator, Credit Programs in Open Acadia to coordinate select credit programs and courses delivered through Open Acadia. This will include coordinating postings, issuing contracts, program logistics, providing status reports, aid in recruitment and marketing objectives, and other required duties that support program needs.

Reporting to the Manager, Credit Programs, the Coordinator will collaborate with Acadia stakeholders to help support the expansion of Open Acadia's online programs delivered through Open Acadia, including Undergraduate Intersession, TESOL, Bridging for EAP, and M.Ed. In consultation with the manager, the coordinator will aid in researching new program offerings.

The Coordinator will develop and maintain a solid working knowledge of all Open Acadia programs, as well as other Acadia University departments and resources.

What you'll need
Qualifications
We are seeking a candidate who possesses a Bachelor's Degree or Community College Diploma with at least 3 years related work experience, ideally within a post-secondary employment setting.
Excellent written and verbal communication, interpersonal and organizational skills are essential, as is the ability to meet deadlines and work within a team environment.
Proven experience delivering a high level of client service and demonstrated ability to think clearly and use sound judgement in assessing situations.
Strong organizational skills as well as general working knowledge of accounting, marketing, and administration would be an asset.
Applicants must have a proven ability to take initiative, be pro-active, and work well independently while providing regular updates and working collaboratively to advance the shared goals of the team.
Applicants must be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office applications and comfortable working in a technology supported environment.
