Custodian/Cleaner
Perdue Daycare Inc. is looking for a cleaner to join our team, someone who can perform janitorial roles and will be responsible for the daily cleanliness and sanitization of the childcare center building.
This position is ideal for someone who enjoys cleaning and has a passion for organization. The successful candidate will be required to complete thoroughly the following responsibilities.
Job Responsibilities:
Provide complete janitorial services by:
Keeping our clients facilities safe and healthy by sanitizing and disinfecting surfaces
Collecting and disposing of waste and recycling.
Thoroughly clean washroom facilities, shared areas, and entrances.
Sweeping and Mopping/Vacuuming all floors.
Cleaning entryways and walkways.
Following the checklist when cleaning and using supplies efficiently.
Job requirements:
Strong attention to detail and thoroughness in cleaning tasks.
Good physical stamina and ability to stand, bend, and lift.
Excellent time management skills to complete assigned tasks within designated timeframes.
Positive and friendly attitude.
Ability to adapt and learn new skills.
Police Background Check will be required immediately when hired.
Previous experience in cleaning or janitorial work preferred.
Ability to work independently and follow directions.
Shift and Schedule:
Monday to Friday (3 hours per day) - Evenings after 7pm
Pay: Based on experience
Job Type: Permanent Part-time
Payment frequency: Paid biweekly.
