Key Accountabilities
- Provide quotes to the community
- Discuss policy renewals with policyholders to ensure their insurance needs are met
- Provide timely response to policyholder inquiries
- Assess insurance needs and provide product recommendations
- Provide required documentation to underwriters in a timely manner
- Post Secondary Education with 1-2 years experience in sales and/or call centre environment
- OTL is a must or willing and able to complete quickly
- Understanding of the insurance industry (claims and underwriting would be an asset)
- Relationship focused to build policyholder retention
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality in relation to business operations
- Well organized with the ability to meet deadlines
- Customer service professional with attention to detail
- Works collaboratively and demonstrates respect in a team environment
- Considerate and warm demeanor with patience
- Excellent computer skills and the ability to multi-task – experienced with EPIC would be an asset
