Customer Care Agent (Inside Sales)

Our client is a policy holder owned Company that is part of the strong Ontario Mutual network of companies. Their team has been providing Home, Auto, Farm and Commercial Insurance to Policy Holders in Ontario for over 100 years. They are growing and continue to build a strong teams to focus on their clients in the community.

Working Full Time at the Office located in Bright, Ontario.

Key Accountabilities

• Provide quotes to the community
• Discuss policy renewals with policyholders to ensure their insurance needs are met
• Provide timely response to policyholder inquiries
• Assess insurance needs and provide product recommendations
• Provide required documentation to underwriters in a timely manner

Key Requirements/Attributes

• Post Secondary Education with 1-2 years experience in sales and/or call centre environment
• OTL is a must or willing and able to complete quickly
• Understanding of the insurance industry (claims and underwriting would be an asset)
• Relationship focused to build policyholder retention
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to maintain confidentiality in relation to business operations
• Well organized with the ability to meet deadlines
• Customer service professional with attention to detail
• Works collaboratively and demonstrates respect in a team environment
• Considerate and warm demeanor with patience
• Excellent computer skills and the ability to multi-task – experienced with EPIC would be an asset
