As a Cybersecurity Sales Architect, you'll play an essential role in supporting our clients and sales teams to perform needs assessment, product demonstration, opportunity qualification, solution design and proposal development. You will perform consultative selling, conveying technical concepts effectively to senior management, business decision-makers and project stakeholders. You are self-motivated, proactive, and enjoy working in cross-functional teams. You will also be responsible for knowledge transition to post-sales implementation and project management teams to ensure the successful delivery of projects.

What you'll do in this role:
  • Focus on Fortinet technology and ecosystem-related services and solutions
  • Help attain regional sales growth and margin targets
  • Represent the TELUS Cybersecurity Solutions portfolio including managed security services, advisory and technical professional services, and technology resale
  • Consult with clients and sales team to identify business requirements, discover and qualify opportunities
  • Develop technical recommendations, solutions, statements of work and proposals to meet customer requirements
  • Develop responses to RFI's and RFP's
  • Work collaboratively with other TELUS business units for integrated solution development
  • Maintain current working knowledge of security technologies and trends
  • Enhance client experience by contributing to continuous improvement in business unit tools, processes, service development and feature enhancement
Qualifications

Your ideal profile includes:
  • Fortinet training and certifications
  • Technical presales experience with Fortinet technology, ecosystem and related services and solutions
  • Knowledge in Cybersecurity domains such as GRC, infrastructure security controls, cloud, analytics and incident response
  • Ability to uncover and understand business requirements through a consultative process
  • Ability to associate technical solutions with business risk and outcomes
  • Understand and represent a broad range of security solutions and delivery models, making appropriate technical recommendations to sales teams and customers
  • Self-motivated and accountable for technical solutions. Navigates ambiguity, clearly communicates risks, anticipates issues, seeks clarification and sets clear expectations with stakeholders
  • Committed to continuous improvement both personally and organizationally; to develop, maintain, enhance and evolve technical security knowledge and processes
  • Excellent communicator, technical writing and presentation skills
  • Minimum 5 years sales engineering or equivalent experience in telecommunications or cybersecurity. Experience with RFP responses, proposal development and statements of work
  • Industry-recognized certifications are an asset, such as ISACA CISA/CISM/CRISC, ISC2 CISSP/CCSP, SANS/GIAC, CSA CCSK
Great-to-haves
  • Experience with any of the following security solutions: NGFW, Endpoint, SIEM, CASB, DLP, Web and Email Security, MDR/XDR, AAA, NAC, Cloud
  • Cybersecurity vendor training and certifications
  • Bilingual in French & English
