Our studio is looking for students who are a Royal Academy of Dance (RAD) Registered Teacher and who possess the Associated Dance Arts for Professional Teachers (ADAPT) license.
You must have at least 2 years of dance teaching experience.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and conduct dance classes for students of various age groups and skill levels (beginner and competitive levels)
- Teach dance techniques, choreography, and routines
- Provide guidance and feedback to students to help them improve their dance skills
- Create a positive and supportive learning environment for students
- Prepare lesson plans and curriculum materials for each class
- Coordinate and organize dance recitals and performances
- Collaborate with other dance instructors and staff members to ensure smooth operations of the dance studio
Skills:
- Strong dance background with expertise in various dance styles such as ballet, jazz, hip-hop, contemporary, etc.
- Ability to effectively communicate and demonstrate dance techniques to students
- Excellent interpersonal skills to interact with students, parents, and staff members
- Patience and ability to work with students of different ages and skill levels
- Creativity in choreographing routines and developing engaging lesson plans
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Salary: $20.00-$35.00 per hour
Expected hours: 10 – 35 per week
