Purpose-led work you’ll be part of

As a Data CoE Senior Associate, you'll work as part of a team of problem solvers, helping to solve complex business issues from strategy to execution. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Perform full cycle data analytics including: gathering data, transforming data using appropriate data tools (i.e. SQL, ACL, Alteryx, etc), performing data analysis, and presenting data in an interactive manner through visualizations

  • Lead a team as part of external audit, internal audit and other engagement teams to deliver client engagements

  • Leverage junior team members to support data extraction to assess completeness and data quality, test/validate reports, and run tests to recalculate figures

  • Engage with clients to understand their business challenges, risks and deliver data solutions to help them understand and manage risks

  • Collect input and develop business requirements for reporting, dashboards and visualizations

  • Actively contribute to proposals and other business development work

  • Shares stories on client service experience and impact with the team

  • Share complex technical solutions to non-technical audiences both verbal and written

  • Handle, manipulate and analyse data and information responsibly

  • Uphold the firm’s code of ethics and business conduct issues with PwC’s technologies for data acquisition

Experiences and skills you’ll use to solve

  • Progressive experience related to data analysis, data visualization, and/or extract transform load (ETL)

  • Worked with Data analytics tools e.g. Excel, VBA, PowerPivot, Google suite of tools, Alteryx, PowerBi, Tableau Prep

  • Confident when working with large sets of complex data and data manipulation

  • Innovative mindset to provide visualization and transform data in an informative way

  • Good understanding on the importance of relationship mapping

  • Exposure to IT systems (i.e. ERP, CRM), databases/data structure, and business & accounting processes

  • Ability to demonstrate commitment to quality through ownership and full completion of assigned work

  • Demonstrated deep knowledge and experience with assessing data to understand the scope and identify data quality issues

  • Foundational knowledge of process automation tools; e.g. UI Path, BluePrism

  • Ability to carry out multiple tasks in a dynamic and constantly changing environment

  • Exceptional commitment to providing excellent client service

  • Self-motivated and able to work as part of a team

  • Excellent oral and verbal communication skills

  • Fluent in French and English would be an asset

  • A demonstrated commitment to valuing differences and working alongside diverse people and perspectives
