Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations of the Deli/Frozen department, ensuring efficient and smooth workflow - Manage and supervise a team of Deli/Frozen staff, providing guidance and support
- Train new employees
- Monitor food quality and presentation, ensuring adherence to health and safety standards
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and special requests in a professional manner
- Maintain adequate stock inventory to avoid over and under stock problems.
-Oversee and participate in the receiving and unloading of product.
-Manage product storage and rotation to avoid any damages or spoilages.
-Analyze profit and sales history and recommend improvements
-ensure proper labeling and product display throughout department.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a Supervisory capacity would be an asset
-Previous experience with sales and ordering an asset
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for interacting with customers and staff
- Flexibility to work weekends, and holidays as needed
