Expand your expertise as a Planning and Demand Manager - Specialities and Projects :
Reporting to the Vice-President, Planning and Supply Chain, the Director, Planning and Demand will be responsible for orchestrating the demand strategy of the Packaging Business Unit in North America. He or she will constantly strive for the best possible customer experience, while ensuring optimal allocation of resources.
Your responsabilities:
-Influence, inspire and support the development of a diverse team of demand, supply, distribution and production planners for the specialty sector;
-Support the implementation of our SAP systems (APO and full SAP implementation in our legacy plants);
-Ensure the implementation and continuous improvement of SAP-Integrated Business Planning (SAP-IBP), applying industry best practices related to demand planning, Supply Planning and distribution;
-Ensure the definition, implementation, governance and adherence to optimal inventory management strategies (MTO, MTS, MRP, safety stock, lot size, min/max, etc.);
-Recommend the implementation or modification of business rules supporting any of our planning processes;
-Ensure the mobilization and development of all your employees.

You too can showcase your strengths: 
-Bachelor's degree in business administration, operations management, industrial engineering or equivalent;
-5 to 10 years' experience leading corporate or integrated business planning initiatives, preferably in a manufacturing environment;
-Some experience in change management from previous jobs;
-Relevant experience with an ERP system, ideally SAP;
-Significant experience in personnel management and coaching skills: mobilize and inspire your team;
-Be a team player and set an example by being respectful, dynamic, motivated and open-minded;
-Bilingualism required (working with teams in Canada and the USA).
 
Additional information
The candidate will be called upon to travel frequently to the various plants in North America (approximately 15-20% of the time will be spent traveling in Canada and the United States).
