Responsibilities:
· Performing administrative tasks such as patient check in/out, including processing insurance claims, reviewing treatment plans, and discussing cost/financing options
· Maintain a professional reception area
· Answer and respond to telephone calls with professionalism and exceptional customer service
· Make follow-up appointments as needed following patient visit or due to cancellations etc.
· Schedule patients for efficient use of doctor and staff time; maintain appointment calendar
· Greet and welcome patients and visitors to the practice
Qualifications:
· Two years of Dental administration experience required
· Good interpersonal and verbal skills to maintain effective rapport with patients, dentists, other staff members
· A team player
· Customer service or patient relations experience; conflict resolution experience.
Able to adapt to office policy improvements
· Detail-oriented, organized, quick response/accurate data entry to present treatment plans to patients in a short time frame.
· Maintain positive attitude and composure when adverse conditions occur and multi-task
· Knowledge of Dentrix is an asset
· Must have organization, communication, and computer skills
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: $22.00-$30.00 per hour
