The Departmental Administrative Assistant will provide clerical support to the Administration Department and be assigned the following tasks:
1. Take and return phone calls
2. To maintain a record of phone calls retuned and responses thereto
3. To provide clerical services such as but not limited to, typing, filing, photo
copying, scanning, reviewing of mail, etc.
4. To assist the Manager with research on special projects
5. To be responsible for retrieving and distributing all incoming fax documents
6. To provide assistance with reception duties at front desk when required
7. To assist with the administration, updating and maintenance of Township website
8. Assists with statutory processes as required

Qualifications:
Post-secondary education in office administration and/or a related field. Successful completion of the Municipal Administration Program and municipal training will be considered an asset. Excellent communication skills, strong time-management and organizational skills are essential, as well as excellent computer skills, including proficiency in Outlook, Word, Excel, Adobe, and PowerPoint. Municipal training and/or experience in a municipal environment will be considered an asset.
