Operation of drilling and bore equipment for the installation of conduit
Loading and unloading of the directional boring equipment
Completing fiber drops once conduit is installed
Work independently or under minimum supervision
Meet physical demands of the job (standing for long periods of time, lifting up to 50 lbs)
General housekeeping duties
Adhere to all companys safety protocols
Gathering and staging various materials to complete construction task
Supervisor duties:
Must attend all safety meetings as scheduled
Supervise and coordinate the staff
Ensure proper communication with direct report
Attend all supervisor meetings
Keep a strong motivated team of high performing individuals
Make sure the establishment is clean and meets all safety requirements
Enforce safety procedures and practices
Experience/Skills:
Minimum 6 months experience running directional drilling equipment (currently operating a JT 5 ditch witch)
Knowledge of telecom and fiber optic installation
Ground Disturbance level 2 - willing to teach
Knowledge of telecom and fiber optic installation
Safety FIRST Mentality
Ability to listen and take direction with positive, can-do attitude
Valid Drivers license with a clean drivers record
Must possess basic English - verbal/written
Able to work as part of a team, and individually when required
