Responsibilities:
Develop and articulate the strategic plan to drive profitable growth and long-term value creation with the launch of mobile, by developing the commercial and Go to market strategies.
Realize the full potential of Cogeco’s combined service offerings – including residential internet – to maximize share of wallet and drive growth from relevant target customer segments.
Deliver a seamless, easy-to-use, reliable customer experience.
Develop and manage to price, customer acquisition, and customer retention plans to deliver the target economics of the business.
Maximize value creation in all sales channels including retail, outbound call center, trade, and regional marketing.
Apply operational thoroughness to deliver subscriber growth and retention through analytically sound, data-driven marketing techniques.
Use cutting-edge marketing tactics and techniques, including the creative use of digital/social media vehicles, guerrilla tactics, and grassroots/ experiential marketing.
Understand how changes in competition and customer preference affect the value proposition and, based on analytical thoroughness, the ability to develop specific offers, pricing, and customer treatments to address related opportunities.
For all the above points, continuously align with diverse stakeholders to ensure proper synergies and avoid any duplications/disconnects.

The ability to effectively balance the desire/need for broad change with an understanding of how much change the organization is capable of handling, to create realistic goals and implementation plans that are achievable and successful.
Comfortable presenting to, and facilitating conversations with, senior audiences.
As this role can be based in Ontario or Quebec, travel to Montreal or Burlington will be required. It can also require occasional travel to the Trois-Riviere office and US.
Bilingualism is a requirement of this role as the successful candidate will be required to collaborate with internal and external colleagues and stakeholders within Ontario, Quebec, and the USA.
Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Marketing or Business, or a combination of education and experience
Minimum of ten (10) years of experience in a leadership position with the last five (5) years performing at a senior level within the telecommunications industry.
Good knowledge of telecommunication trends and technological developments.
Experience in marketing mass consumer goods or services.
