Be the Primary Account Manager for a large industrial account in the CPI industry.  This account is technically complex and has exceptionally high standards for service, reporting, project work and optimizations.  This position is a great opportunity for someone with aspirations of moving into a Technical Role in the future.
Be a consultant and advisor! Listen, learn, and apply technologies to solve a wide variety of Water and process treatment needs, utilizing the broadest and deepest product portfolio in the industry. Safety first, so you’ll need to learn and apply customer safety and environmental practices
Have a sense of adventure! This is not a typical desk job. You’ll be out in the field working at commercial sites several days per month. Sometimes you’ll need to roll up your sleeves to work with field test equipment, chemical feed systems, and other equipment and chemicals involved in water treatment.  You’ll need to be proactive - preventative maintenance, optimizing chemical feed and equipment operations implementing creative and innovative predictive analytics will be important. It’s easier to fix problems before they arise.

Primary Responsibilities:
-Take charge of customer accounts by developing growth strategies, integrated account plans, identifying opportunities, and effectively communicating value propositions.
-Collaborate with your assigned team to drive profitable sales within your designated territory.
-Focus on both acquiring new accounts and nurturing existing ones for sustained growth.
-Engage with current customers and prospects, understanding their sales and service needs to deliver exceptional solutions.
-Interface with the marketing organization to leverage our portfolio for high-value solutions.
-Serve as a bridge between solutions and customer needs, demonstrating a deep understanding of their business model.
-Build and nurture customer relationships at all levels, ensuring satisfaction and loyalty.
-Collaborate with functional and P&L teams to achieve growth objectives through effective matrix management.
-Actively participate in community events with customers, strengthening bonds beyond business interactions.

Education/Experience Requirements:
-Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Biology, Chemistry or closely related discipline (or a High School Diploma / GED with a minimum of 4 years of additional experience in a closely related technical position)
-Less than 1 year of sales or marketing experience or technical support operations experience in water process/treatment related industry
Other Eligibility Requirements: 
-Ability and willingness to travel across North America 
-Ability and willingness to reside in assigned region, or within customer proximity requirements, as required
-Work frequently in a heavy industrial environment requiring use of Personal Safety Equipment and exposure to noise, dust, chemicals and other similar irritants typical of those found in refinery, chemical plants, power plants, etc., as required
-Ability and willingness to comply with stringent drug testing and background check requirements set by customer safety requirements, as required
-Basic Computer Skills including MS Office, and other software programs within a Windows environment
-To the extent that you are applying for a position that requires you to operate a company owned / leased or rented vehicle for company business, you must be willing to submit to a check of your driving record.
-The company will only employ those who are legally authorized to work in Canada for this opening. Any offer of employment is conditioned upon the successful completion of a background investigation.

-Technical experience, preferably in water treatment/process related industry
-Strong oral and written communication skills
-Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
-Ability to work in fast paced environment requiring ability to multi-task and flex within changing priorities
