Electrical Apprentice

Job responsibilities:

• Support Electricians in the maintenance, operation and repair of electrical systems
• Assist with and perform installation and maintenance tasks in order to ensure the effective operation of various electrical equipment
• Learning from the Electrical Build Leader and completing all assigned duties
• Identifying, analyzing, troubleshooting, and assisting with repairs of equipment and electrical faults
• Traveling out to various public and private spaces to assist the Electrical Build Leader
• Interpreting blueprints and schematics
• Updating work logs and handling other administrative duties
• Ordering replacement parts and equipment as needed
• Completing electrical installations and carrying out various maintenance duties
• Communicating with clients in a professional, courteous manner at all times
• Assist Electrical Build Leader with assigned tasks, as needed

• Must be enrolled in apprenticeship program
• Practical experience working with electrical systems and equipment
• Ability to read technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
• A willingness to learn and work overtime when required
• A valid driver's license or reliable transport
• The ideal candidate would be a 3rd or 4th year apprentice
