Job Description

As the Email Manager, you are responsible for managing the email marketing channel and growing it organically to support our efforts in e-commerce and our stores. In addition, you are responsible for ensuring our CDP database remains CASL compliant, is properly segmented, and contains the correct data sets as we evolve our data collection in future phases. It is expected that decisions, customer insights, actions, and recommendations will have an immediate impact on company profitability. The incumbent will be responsible for assisting in driving e-commerce revenue and driving traffic in-store through email programs.

Responsibilities of this role will include, but are not limited to:
  • Seamless execution and planning of our email campaigns. Overseeing everything from setup and launch to post-deployment analysis and optimization.
  • Manage all email assets and make sure that they are tracked, and properly set-up and tested within our platform before campaigns are deployed.
  • Devise a/b tests in order to optimize campaign performance and develop email programs/plans along with recommended best practices in order to drive e-commerce revenue, and in-store traffic.
  • Develop and maintain process documentation for the email channel. Following a mailing,
  • Measuring and reviewing email performance and recommending opportunities to improve email KPI’s.
  • Maintain the CDP platform as it relates to e-commerce and ensure that all data remains CASL compliant as well evolve the data collection process for future phases.
  • Provide weekly and monthly reporting for the email marketing channel and key customer and web insights, utilizing multiple platforms including Google Analytics & Responsys.
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with several internal teams, including but not limited to Marketing, Merchandising, Information Technology, Customer Service, Purchasing and Sales.
  • Work with our partners to ensure our email platforms and data collection are functioning based on our rules, and that our future project phases are launched seamlessly.
This role will consist of a hybrid model of both remote and in-person collaboration.

Qualifications
  • 5-6 years of relevant work experience, preferably in email/CRM/e-commerce for a retail brand. Fashion/platform certification experience is considered a plus.
  • A University degree or College Diploma in Marketing/Business/E-Commerce or a related field from an accredited institution preferred.
  • Effective communicator- exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent analytical skills.
  • Demonstrated interpersonal skills and ability to influence/relationship build.
  • Detail oriented, highly organized and able to prioritize multiple concurrent projects.
  • Works efficiently and independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to meet strict timelines and adapt quickly to changing priorities.
  • Excellent project management skills.
  • Advanced excel skills.
  • Fully Bilingual (English/French) written and spoken highly preferred but not required.
