The Information Technology Division (ITD) of the Ministry of SaskBuilds and Procurement supplies a full-range of IT services to government ministries and agencies. It supports government customers with help desk, hardware and software, application development and IT security services. The ITD also sets government-wide policies and standards in IT infrastructure, support services and security.
The Citizen Centric Program Delivery Branch is actively seeking an individual with effective communication, cross-team collaboration, and strong interpersonal, analytical, and problem-solving skills for the role of Enterprise Services Team Lead. Reporting to the Manager within the Citizen Centric Program Delivery unit, you will lead, support, develop, and mobilize three small teams towards a shared purpose in the best interests of the branch, Government of Saskatchewan, and service delivery to citizens. This role involves oversight of three key services: Certificate Management, 3rd-party Vendor support, Internal Project Coordination and App/Server Decommissions.
As our successful candidate you will be a results-oriented individual with strong verbal and written communication skills and bring the experience below:
- Completion of a degree in computer science or technical diploma. Consideration will be given to candidates with related experience working in an IT environment and/or training.
- At least 5 years of experience working within an IT environment.
- Experience leading, training and coaching staff.
- Be approachable and flexible in dealing with clients and ITD staff from various divisions.
- Will have knowledge of programming concepts, techniques and languages.
- Will have knowledge of Database concepts, theories and principles including backups, disaster recovery, capacity planning, tuning and performance monitoring.
