About the Position
The Finance Administrator is a detail-oriented individual who is focused and has a knack for numbers. They are determined to keep data up to date. This role manages accounts receivables, payables, payroll, Gov't Remittances, month end tasks (reconciliations of accounts, monthly entries complete) and analyzes data to ensure accuracy.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years experience in accounts payable/receivable or accounting
- Hands-on experience in operating spreadsheets and accounting software
- Solid understanding of accounting principles
- Proven ability to calculate, post and manage accounting figures and financial records
- Strong computer literacy (exporting, creating spreadsheets, queries & reports)
- Data entry skills along with a knack for numbers
- High degree of accuracy & attention to detail
- Ability to work independently
- Excellent oral & communication skills
- Qualifications in Finance, Accounting and Payroll Administration
- Previous exposure to Oracle Netsuite ERP system is considered an asset
