Saskatchewan's 30th General Election!
As the Financial Compliance Team Lead, you will help to hire, train and supervise a team of financial support staff who will provide guidance and support to returning officers in 61 constituencies before and during the election.
Support and assistance for returning officers will be provided in the areas of accounts payable, purchasing and payroll.
After the election, this position and the finance support staff team members will transition to electoral finance and will be responsible for reviewing election expense returns for candidates and parties for completeness, accuracy and compliance with both legislation and policy.
Were looking for someone who doesn't mind adapting to changing priorities and can shift their focus quickly. A great sense of humour and team-driven attitude will be definite assets.
Our preference is for candidates to have at least five years of finance or accounting related experience, strong attention to detail and great verbal and written communication skills. Experience leading a team is a definite asset.
This position will require you to work extended hours and/or weekends as the date of the general election approaches.
