As a Financial Planner within the Wealth Team, you will play an integral role in managing our member portfolio by providing dedicated relationship management and exceptional member service. Our team of professionals is member focused and committed to creating meaningful financial advice for all our members, and adhering to regulatory requirements. You will proactively engage with new and existing members to provide comprehensive financial advice, helping the member with their needs today and designing a plan to support their goals of tomorrow.

Responsibilities:  Provide expert advice and solutions in the area of financial planning – including investments, financial management, tax planning and retirement planning.  Conducting needs analyses, reviewing member financial goals, providing recommendations, opening new accounts and documenting recommendations and changes.  Conducting regular reviews of member investment plans and identifying additional opportunities.  Participating in events to create brand awareness and developing, maintaining, and cultivating community contacts that enhance and maximize new business opportunities.  This role will primarily work in the Bonnyville branch with some travel to our Cold Lake branch will be required.

Requirements:

 Certified Financial Planner (CFP) designation or able to complete within the year; will consider a combination of education and experience

 Mutual Funds license

 Minimum 5 years' wealth management experience

 Ability to work collaboratively as part of a high-performing team
