Air Borealis operates in challenging weather conditions where our Flight Operations team works diligently to ensure quality and consistent air service to the people of Labrador. As a member of our Flight Operations team, you assume the responsibility for safe and efficient operation of our Twin Otter fleet, working for a company that is the lifeline for the indigenous communities of Labrador. Exploring the Big Land, you'll come to work in some of the beautiful and remote places in Canada.

Air Borealis is currently seeking qualified applicants for Flight Operations Administrator in Goose Bay, NL.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and organize the online and internal library for operational manuals, including Company Operations Manual, Tariffs, Standard Operating Procedures, etc.
  • Distribute manuals and revisions to relevant personnel.
  • Amend and update operational manuals such as Tariffs, Minimum Equipment Lists, Company Operations Manual, etc.
  • Generate and issue daily CADORs reports.
  • Prepare and complete memos and operational directives.
  • Manage the ordering of office supplies for the Operations Department.
  • Take meeting minutes as required.
  • Perform administrative tasks such as filing, scanning, and photocopying.
  • Provide general support to the Operations department.
  • Validate and audit Aircraft Log Sheets daily and generate required reports.
  • Administer operational documents, including Aircraft Visas.
  • Maintain the Online Training Library, including course revisions and control.
  • Create, edit, format, and issue operational documents.
  • Utilize advanced document management skills to ensure accurate and efficient organization of operational documents.
  • Demonstrate strong typing skills to efficiently produce and revise operational documents.
  • Perform other duties as required to support the Operations department.

Qualifications:

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail to effectively maintain and organize operational manuals, documents, and reports.
  • Proficiency in document management systems and software to efficiently handle online and internal library maintenance.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively distribute manuals, revisions, memos, and directives.
  • Ability to amend and update operational manuals with accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in generating and issuing reports, such as daily CADORs reports.
  • Experience in administrative tasks, including filing, scanning, photocopying, and ordering office supplies.
  • Proficient in taking meeting minutes and providing general support to the Operations department.
  • Familiarity with Aircraft Log Sheets and the ability to validate and audit them daily.
  • Knowledge of operational documents, including Aircraft Visas, and experience in their administration.
  • Experience in maintaining online training libraries, including course revisions and control.
  • Advanced skills in creating, editing, formatting, and issuing operational documents.
  • Strong typing skills to efficiently produce and revise operational documents.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to adapt to changing priorities.
  • Flexibility to perform other duties as required to support the Operations department.
