Flooring Associate

Overview: We are seeking a motivated and customer-oriented Retail Sales Associate to join our team. As a Retail Sales Associate, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, assisting customers with their purchases, and ensuring the store is clean and well-organized. This is a great opportunity for individuals who enjoy working in a fast-paced retail environment. Responsibilities: - Greet customers and provide them with assistance in finding products or answering their questions - Operate the cash register and process customer transactions accurately - Maintain knowledge of current sales and promotions to effectively upsell and cross-sell products - Conduct product demonstrations to showcase features and benefits - Assist with inventory management, including restocking shelves and monitoring stock levels - Ensure the store is clean, organized, and visually appealing to customers - Handle customer complaints or concerns in a professional manner - Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets and provide excellent customer service Experience: - Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred - Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with customers - Basic math skills for cash handling and calculating discounts - Knowledge of Point of Sale (POS) systems is a plus - Familiarity with Sketchup or other design software is beneficial for assisting customers with renovation projects We offer competitive pay rates and opportunities for career growth within our company. Job Type: Part-time

Salary: $15.00-$15.50 per hour

Expected hours: 32 per week
