AddressThe team at Mosaic Home Services is growing! We are seeking a diligent, motivated, and high performing individual to join our accounting team as a Full Cycle Bookkeeper. Mosaic owns 7 independent home service brands with 13 locations across Alberta. The successful candidate will be responsible for full cycle bookkeeping for all of the Mosaic brands with the support of the Controller.
The ideal candidate will be well organized and comfortable dealing with financial data. This individual will be responsible for overseeing the accounts payable and receivable, processing payroll and conducting other tasks related to finance. They should be excellent at recording data and have an ability to product clear financial reports.
Responsibilities
- Weekly processing of Accounts Payable including preparation of vendor payments by cheque & EFT
- Daily Accounts Receivable follow ups with clients of varying sizes
- Daily processing of up to 50 invoices including sending to clients via email & text
- Processing of weekly payroll for up to 20 staff including hourly, salary, & commission
- Utilizing Quickbooks Enterprise (Desktop) for accounting activities
- Preparation of month end financial reporting including intercompany transactions & month end journal entry adjustments
- Processing client payments by cheque, eft, and credit card
- Preparation of quarterly GST remittances & annual T4 statements
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in related field
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite and QuickBooks Enterprise
- Strong organizational and analytical skills Detail oriented
- Experience in home services and/or in a SME is an asset
