Global Marketing Director
Location:
-Canada (EST preferred)
-Office / Hybrid / Home-based
 
Position Summary:
The Global Marketing Director is responsible for developing and implementing the overall marketing strategy for Cohesive Group (a wholly owned subsidiary of Bentley Systems), including brand strategy, positioning, market segmentation, customer awareness, acquisition, retention and loyalty. They oversee the global and regional marketing team who will execute the marketing campaigns and activities for Cohesive. This role will work closely with the CEO, regional managing directors, sales and operations teams to align the marketing objectives with the business objectives and vision.
Your Day-to-Day / Responsibilities:

-Define and communicate the marketing vision, mission and values for the Cohesive and ensure they are aligned with the corporate (including Bentley) strategy and culture.
-Develop and execute the Global Marketing strategy and plan, including budget allocation, impact analysis and reporting.
-Lead and manage the Cohesive Global Marketing team, including hiring, training, coaching, performance management and career development.
-Grow and maintain the Cohesive brand identity, voice and tone across all channels and touchpoints, ensuring consistency and coherence.
-Lead the development of marketing operations to support the business from website, content development, translation services to CRM systems.
-Work with the Chief Value Officer to implement effective campaigns, solutions positioning, messaging for different target audiences and markets based upon our value propositions.
-Design and oversee the creations of integrated marketing campaigns, content and programs across the most relevant online and offline channels.
-Partner with the sales and operations teams to ensure alignment and synergy between the marketing activities and the solutions development, sales pipeline and customer satisfaction.
-Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness and impact of the marketing initiatives and activities, using data-driven insights and feedback to optimize and improve the marketing performance and ROI.
-Stay abreast of the latest marketing trends, tools, technologies and best practices, and leverage them to innovate and enhance the marketing function and capabilities.
-Be aware of and adhere to the control processes set out within Cohesive’s Certified Management System.
-This is a full-time role expected to work 40 hours per week, Canada-based.
-Travel is required up to 10%.
-Requires sitting or standing at will while performing work on a computer (or any other 
physical requirements
). The role requires communication with managers, peers and other colleagues of the company in person (on occasion), and by utilizing Microsoft Teams chat, calling and meeting functions.

-10+ years’ experience at a senior level within Marketing
-Solid senior level strategic marketing experience
-Strong analytical skills, using data to drive decision making
-Strong brand marketing experience
-Proven management and delivery skills
-Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritising workload accordingly
-Strong leadership experience in recruiting and managing a team
-Experience managing a marketing budget
-Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships both internally and with external stakeholders
-Proficiency in digital marketing platforms, content management systems and marketing automation tools
-Desirable

-Proven experience creating and developing marketing strategy targeting significant business growth
-Experience of working within a corporate subsidiary and being the key interface with the corporate marketing team on behalf of that subsidiary
