Job description

We are seeking a Grant Writer to join our team. As a Grant Writer, you will be responsible for researching, writing, and submitting grant proposals to secure funding for our organization. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong research and writing skills who is passionate about making a difference in the community.

Duties:
- Conduct thorough research to identify potential grant opportunities
- Collaborate with team members to gather information and data needed for grant proposals
- Write clear, concise, and compelling grant proposals that align with the organization's mission and goals
- Ensure all grant applications are submitted accurately and on time
- Maintain a database of grants, including deadlines and reporting requirements
- Assist the Executive Director in day to day administrative and fundraising tasks.

- Perform other duties as assigned when necessary for Foundation projects.

Experience:
- Strong research skills to identify relevant funding opportunities
- Excellent written communication skills
- Familiarity with databases and grant management would be an asset
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines

Other

- Valid Drivers License & vehicle to use for various tasks.

Salary: $16.55-$17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 37.5 per week
