Job description

Duties:
- Develop and implement effective training programs for hockey players
- Teach and demonstrate hockey skills, techniques, and strategies
- Plan and organize practice sessions to improve players' skills and teamwork
- Evaluate players' performance and provide constructive feedback for improvement
- Ensure the safety of players during training sessions and games
- Motivate and inspire players to reach their full potential and become better people, not just hockey players
- Communicate effectively with players, parents, and team management

Requirements:
- Extensive knowledge and experience in playing goalie
- Proven coaching experience in hockey at a youth or higher level
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to educate and mentor players of different ages and skill levels
- Knowledge of current hockey rules, regulations, and trends
- CPR and First Aid certification (preferred)
- Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, school PD days.

- This position could be progression into a contracted Goalie Coach position for our U15AAA team.
