What a day in the life of a HR Generalist would look like:
- Full Cycle Technical and Non-Technical recruiting from posting opportunities all the way to the selection of candidates. You will be trained on our full recruitment process and our ATS system (JazzHR).
- Providing recruitment progress and updates in a recruitment tracker form and a snapshot of priorities and progress.
- Organize and attend career fairs and job fairs.
- Supporting various immigration routes for our current employees.
- Supporting Grants and funding for new hires if they are applicable.
- Onboarding new hires in a remote and engaging manner.
- Supporting managers and managers in personnel related inquiries and issues, you are the main initial point of contact!
- Offboarding AEQers in the final journey with Aequilibrium
- Organizing and attending employee events (social, wellness, and other initiatives) that help create a remarkable employee experience both remotely and in person.
- Openness and willingness to work on various projects, as the team grows and we start implementing new areas.
- Office related tasks as needed that require in person attendance.
- 3-5 years of experience in a human resources role that also included recruiting
- Industry experience in Professional Services or worked in an Agency environment
- Experience working in fast growing or start up environment
- Experience working with an employee base of software engineers
- Ability to multi-task and juggle multiple and conflicting priorities
- Strong communication (written and verbal)
- Good team player, who brings a smile, positive outlook, and enthusiasm to work
- Attention to detail and quick turnaround time
- Ability to learn new tools quickly and intermediate experience with google docs, excel, and powerpoint.
- Ability to work independently with good problem solving skills.
- Experience with JazzHR (ATS), BambooHR, or Lattice
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Business, Human Resources Preferred.
- This position will be 100% Remote, however, with be available to be in person for any employee related events or career fairs.
