Help conduct safety inspections, audits, and assessments.
Assist in the development and maintenance of safety manuals and training materials.
Ensure employees are trained on the use and purpose of PPE, ensure employees are consistently and correctly wearing the appropriate PPE for the job being performed.
Ensure the company forklift operation program is compliant. Oversee forklift training, track and monitor forklift certification training records and licenses, ensure daily forklift inspections are being conducted and documented, ensure employees are wearing the appropriate PPE.
Maintain safety records and documentation, including incident reports and safety training records and confidentiality.
Serve as a point of contact for HR and safety-related inquiries from employees.
Assist in promoting a culture of safety within the organization and Present safety training session to employees.
Formulate and implement local plans and procedures for fire safety and emergency evacuation programs and ensure appropriate individuals are trained in the processes and procedures should the plan be activated.
Assist in ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and company policies.
Assist in maintaining employee records and databases, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
Assist in the overall HR-related areas.
