Job Title:Indigenous Staffing and Operations Coordinator

Job Description:

We are inviting a committed and culturally attuned Indigenous Staffing and Operations Coordinator to join our team, with a special focus on the oil, gas, maintenance operations, and construction sectors. This role is central to upholding and enhancing our connections with clients and employees, especially in indigenous communities. The ideal candidate will possess an in-depth understanding of indigenous culture, combined with substantial knowledge and experience in oil and gas operations, construction projects, and managing maintenance operations, including turnaround and shutdown procedures for new assets.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Client and Employee Relationship Management: Develop and maintain robust relationships with clients and employees, ensuring their requirements are fully understood and met with utmost professionalism and cultural sensitivity.

  2. Dispatching and Crew Management in Industrial Context: Efficiently coordinate and dispatch crews to various industrial locations. Supervise crew activities to ensure all tasks are carried out effectively and competently.

  3. Safety and Training Oversight in Oil and Gas: Guarantee that all personnel receive proper safety and confidence training specific to oil, gas, and construction environments. Vigilantly monitor and enforce adherence to safety standards to ensure a safe working environment for everyone.

  4. Coordination of Industrial Dispatch and Transportation: Oversee the logistics of dispatching and transporting personnel and equipment in the context of oil and gas operations and construction projects.

  5. Community Engagement with Indigenous Focus: Proactively engage with local and regional indigenous communities, respecting cultural nuances, and cultivating strong, mutually beneficial relationships.

  6. Cultural and Industrial Expertise: Combine a strong grasp of indigenous culture with expert knowledge of the oil, gas, and construction sectors to foster an inclusive and culturally sensitive work environment.

Qualifications:

  • Experience in staffing, sales, or related roles within the oil, gas, and construction industries.
  • Demonstrated respect and understanding of indigenous cultures and communities.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, able to connect with diverse groups.
  • Outstanding organizational and coordination skills.
  • Ability to function both independently and as part of a team.
