GFL is looking for experienced Industrial Operators to join our team for various short and long term shutdown projects mainly in Fort McMurray, Alberta and British Columbia. These positions will report to the Supervisors and will work together to ensure all projects are done safely and on schedule. This position offers seasonal employment starting in the spring with potential to work late into the fall with possibility of extensions.

Job Duties:
Operate various trucks to perform tasks required by the customer ranging from vacuum trucks and hydro-vacs to chemical trucks and High-Pressure pumps/trailers.
Operate chemical cleaning equipment (pumps, heat exchangers, circulation units) to perform tasks required by the customer
Set up and control hoses attached to the pumps to ensure the safe and effective pumping of water
Maintain and update drivers logbook on a daily basis
Ensure all equipment and tooling is cleaned and stored in appropriate unit, case, or container before it is returned to the shop
Participate in job site preparation, including the rigging in/out of equipment
Experience and Qualifications:
Class 1 or 3 drivers’ license with an acceptable personal drivers abstract
Willing and able to travel when required
Eagar to learn new skills
Willingness to take direction and work effectively with coworkers
Capability to multitask and adapt to new working environments
Working Conditions:
Willingness to participate in nightshifts and overtime is a requirement
Ability to work in all weather conditions for extended periods of time
Capable of standing for long durations and able to lift up to 50 lbs
